Today is the 8.1 and I am listening to a sad piano song. I don´t know what it´s called. It´s 9:43 PM and no sign of nature is present in my room. My room feels now after the freedom like a cell in a prison. It´s not bad, I´m not unhappy here. It´s just a different way of life I have to get used to. A way of life in which the room is not so important, as things generally. I am still recovering after my cold. It was the worst when the plane was landing in Glasgow. My head was almost exploding. All snot moved from my sinuses to my ears. I was half deaf for two days after this landing. Highly unpleasant.

I woke up late. Around 10 when my phone rang. A girl said Florida please. My voice serves me badly just after waking up, so I had some trouble to speak. The girl presumed she had called to the wrong number since my grunting.
- Maybe this is the wrong number, she said.
- Yes, I said and hanged up.
I did not try to sleep again. I got up. Made myself a couple of sandwiches and juice and tea. I read the latest awful book by John Grisham - The Innocent Man. I feel obliged to read it, because I got it as a present. It´s 500 pages. I am at 312. After breakfast I started my studies, after a break of nearly a month. I did some hard work. I polished my EU essay. At 3 I had a lunch of Scotish broth and rice. It was surprisingly good for being tinned. After dinner I studied some more. At 4:15 Samuel, Fernando and me walked to Lidl. We bought food for around 150 pounds, then called a taxi and unloaded the cargo in rain at Kstreet. There was a lot of food. After that I relaxed. I made hamburgers for dinner. I am a pro at that now. After dinner more relaxing. Now is now.

7.1 Was my first day here. It was Monday and I felt dead in my bed. I had no food so after waking up I just had a cup of tea and walked to uni. I returned a book half an hour late but they didn´t care. I walked from there to Iceland. First I crossed the uni garden, crossed uni avenue and walked towards Queen Margaret. I ran down the stars and enjoyed Ashton Lane. In Iceland I bought my things. Iceland is shit, because the choice is limited and only a few things are cheap. I walked home, lied down in my bed. I woke up when Marco arrived. I greeted him tired. I rested more. Then Fernando arrived. We were surprised to see him so early. He was not expected before Wednesday, but we were wrong. After a dinner consisting of fish and rice. I rested more and then I watched the film The Others. It was a bit hard to understand, but I think I got the idea. After the film Andrea arrived. It was nice to see him again. I had trouble falling asleep.

6.1 It is hard to say when I woke up on Sunday. I was awake at 12 PM. I am sure I slept from 3 - 6 AM and shorter periods between 12 and 3. I slept that night on the ferry between Finland and Sweden. The waves were big. I had trouble sleeping. Somebody behind me stuffed the lights with paper to dim the light. After a while another man came and ripped them down. The paper was burnt and there was smoke. I ate some sweets. I woke up early and ate some porridge in the cafe watching our approach towards Stockholm. I disembarked and walked towards the old town. I had a hole in my shoe. Therefore, as I am a practical man, I had put my leg in a plastic bag to not get wet. I walked first to the Cityterminal. This time it wasn´t closed. I had a breakfast. The waitress was fascinated by scottish pounds. After that I surfed on the bus station web and made a list of interesting museums. At 10:45 I left the bus station for the first museum, The museum of the Nobel prize. It was in the middle of the old city and it was very impressive(and cheap). I even attended a guided tour in english. It was interesting indeed. There was also an exhibition of Robert Capa. He took photos from the D-day, the Spanish war, from China and from Italy during WW II. He died Vietnam with some French troops. He was a friend of John Steinbeck and Ernest Hemingway. After that I enjoyed short films about Nobel laureates for an hour. I also listened to Noble prize speeches and read quotes. From there I continued to Kulturhuset after passing the Royal Castle, the home of the king. In Kulturhuset I saw an exhibition by Martin Parr about the crazy consumption society we live in. It was also worth seeing. From there I walked to the station and took my bag, had a quick lunch at the station McD(please never go to McD). I jumped on a bus and arrived 80 mins later on Skavsta Airport. My flight was on time, others were late. I flew to Glasgow in a lot of Turbulence and I was a bit scared. At Prestwick I ran to the train station and just caught the train. The service stopped in Paisley. From there we took a bus to the Central station in Glasgow. I walked home via the new Tescos. There was no milk or bread. Glasgow was quiet because my ears were deafen. The flat was dark but there was some noise in Samuels´ room. I stepped in and we greeted in happiness. It was great to see him again. We drank tea and I ate noodles. Then I went asleep.

5.1 Was my last day in Finland. I woke up 11 and we ate Wienerschnizel before I left. My parents accompanied me to the station. There I said bye. I stepped on the train. I changed train. Arrived to Åbo and walked to the boat. The boat was packed with Russians. I was pleasantly surprised. I found a nice place on the boat. I had no bed booked so I slept on two chairs. It was OK.

Now I´ll start with new reading and film lists. And here are some more pics I forgot to put last time and some new from Glasgow: ... NO, from new year only!
