Night of Arts and Our First Gig

Mushrooms

27 - Wednesday I woke up later for work today, 7.30. Work from 9-4.30. I was ill at work, tired and headache and no appetite. At home I took a painkiller and jammed until 8.15 with Big Tick. In between we had dinner creps with spinach. Then I had a shower and icecream and Mamma and Pekka, who came home from Lammi today were cleaning and cutting mushrooms Pekka had been picking.

26 - Tuesday - I went home after work and was at home 5.14 as always. Titus and Cami was in the same train but I didn't see them before our station. At home we played some football and then ate dinner. Isak was at our place as well. I continued lay-outing my printed version of my blog. It's going to be nice.

25 - Monday - I was working first from 8.30 to 4.30. Then we were training from 5:30 to 10. It was a hard day if my memory serves me well. We had pasta for dinner.

24 - Sunday - On Sunday my mother rested in bed until four in the afternoon. That is very unusual of here, but she is eating antibiotics right now. I layouted on my Blogbook. Isak and Jonna visited us as well and we dined together. We ate together Then me and TItus played Civ3 and watched Pearl Harbour in the same time. It's not a good film but it doesn't make it dull. After the playing and watching me and Titus had a sauna and swam in the small hole in the woods and it was dark.

23 - Saturday - I woke up a bit later after the night of arts. I worked on my newspaper until making on my newspaper and jamming. I was working with my blog book. Then we practised again for at least 5 hours. We ate sausages and potatoes.

22 - Friday. Night of arts was nice. I worked the day all the way until 5. I tried to call people to meet on the night of arts, but it wasn't very fruitful. I walked alone to the opera to look for second hand clothes from the opera. Unfortunately it wasn't what I thought it would be. The queue was 100 meters at least. So I continued to the amphitheatre nearby and had by small dinner. A banana, two Estonian pancakes, a yogurt, a croissant and a bottle of Vichy Water. After lunch I walked towards the city centre there I met Thomas and Jan.

On my way to meet Jan and Thomas I walked along the Tölöviken and took this picture of Helsinki. The way in which the nature swallows Helsinki is describing. A small city, baked into nature. Here we are only 1 km away from the central railway station.

On my way I saw the these people playing chess. It was the chess society of maybe Helsinki. Another girl was also taking artistic pictures of the chess players. A somewhat dull thing to take photos of.

This toilet was still fresh.

There was a skateboarding competition in front of the Museum of  Modern Art. The shape of the house with the long shadows do something.

In front of Kiasma I met Jan. Observe the nice clothes he is wearing.

Trying on second hand clothes from the National Opera.

This hat is something I could have bought.

Dinner with the Poets in love - !! "" CONCERT "" !!

20.8 Today I went to work the normal 7.37. I worked until 16:25. Then I walked to Stockmann to meet the poets. I left the New Parliament building. There had just been a heavy shower rinsing the streets of people.

The wet streets. I am closing in on Stockmann. Walking on Mannerheimvägen.

Secret photo on the poets waiting for the most important and inspiring poet, me.

Jan with tweed, cap and bag.

I accidentally met Ulli on the street. She was having a drink with a friend.

Tennispalatset. Here you can watch films in Helsinki. The tickets cost a fortune.

On the bus, on my way home

Mamma in kitchen. This picture was taken after that I returned from the dinner with my fellow poets and after the skating.

19.8 On Tuesday I worked again. At home I was 17:14. Me and Titus scythed hay for an hour. We ate some apples from trees and I took some photos. Then we had dinner. Titus, Mamma and me. Pekka is in Porkala. After dinner I made music and talked with Maria
18.8 On Monday I was working the normal 7.15 hours. After work I took the bus home. In the bus I met Sebbe, Titus old class mate. That was a relief since it took fortyfives minutes to get home in the rush hour. I got angry because we were supposed to train. When I came home I rigged the strato and started jamming. We jammed. It was a bit stiff. Titus left for his drumming lesson. We ate, Oliver, Wilhelm, Pekka and me. After dinner we continued and a song, a bit of cover, came out, just like that. It's groovy as grove. But it's a secret. Titus came back and we continued. The next song evoloved. Just like that. And this one is original in one particular sense. Crazy Original. We played until 10 p.m.

Canoes - Canoeing on a Sunday

I am writing this today Wednesday. Here follows a brief story of the Sunday canoeing with Kai and his parents canoe. Around 12 Kai arrived here and I made sanies for the trip. One dark sandwich and a toast each. We drove to Sundsberg, 3km from where I live. There we met Kai's parents. We ate some food there. Buns with cheese and mushroom salad. From there Kai's father drove only around 1 km to the sea. The rest follows below.

Here the sanies are made. The black bread was with BOTH cheese and ham. The toast with some Swedish prawn cheese. Also a bottle of water and carrots from our own garden. Photo Kai

The canoe is by the sea. We carried around 100 m. It was surprisingly heavy. We are thinking: where should we put it in the sea. Other preparations made: Life jackets, cloths around are waist for not letting any water making us wet and adjusting the steering. The canoe was steered by a rudder adjusted by the feet of the one sitting behind.
First we road out from the shore. We started in a bay. From there we paddled to this river called Mankby Å. The bridge is the railway bridge I am crossing everyday when I go to work. It was quite nice to go beneath it and enjoy the wonderful echo under the bridge.
This boat was fascinatingly covered in moss. The Snoopy dog adds to the absurd feeling. Why is not anyone using this boat I wonder.
Look at my biceps. I am strong. Photo Kai, obviously
Here I pose and the flash makes me paler than I am.
Kai stretching and flexing.
The trees resting over the water. We met only one canoe in the river.
The best picture of the trip. The general composition, sharpness and light is good. The movements in the water on the right side and the drops on the left side create balance in the water and Kai looking at the paddle makes it even more interesting. In my opinion.
Lunch break 5 p.m. The dark bread. Kai also went to a kiosk and bought a hamburger and sweets for us.

My foot in the sand. It was a surprisingly warm day.
Kai making himself ready for the paddling back. The boys had been swimming on the left side.
Nice cloth. Kai wears this always.
