blog update time

Tuesday - 21.9 - I worked and forgot all other things. I think I bought a pair of trousers, 4,99 € and 100 % polyester.

Wednesday 22.9 - I biked to work, surprise. I worked the day and at around 6 I biked home and ate fast. I made some easy wok. I biked to the football and experienced a session of English football playing. We trained for more than two hours. Then I biked home an small streets because I had no lights on my bike. I scored.

Thursday 23.9 - I biked to work. I worked until 5.30 and basically more because there was a reception at the Polish Embassy. It was a nice place at Alexanderstraat. The whole room applauded when I presented myself and said I learnt that day that I had passed my last exam. I then biked to the city centre and bought lights to my bike. Then I watched Letters From Iwo Jima by Clint Eastwood, 3/5. Sleep.

Friday 24.9 - Woke up and biked to work. I biked home at around 5. A bang and I got scared. My back tire was punctured. With a flat tire I walked towards the city centre and home. I left my bike at a bike shop. The tire has to be changed as well. It was rotten. Next Tuesday I'll be 30 euros poorer. I walked the way home and bought "picante mousselen" and tomatoes. At home I made music, pasta and studied my Dutch dictionary. At around 8 Johnny turned up. We left and I took the bus towards Klingendaal and he biked. It was raining. At Helenas and Katrines place there were around 8 people. Many young diplomats. There we played a long drinking game, 2-3 hours. We biked towards the city centre and I sat on Johan's luggage carrier (said the dictionary). We lost the other people on the way but found them again in the centre. One had fallen from her biked. We couldn't get in to Paard van Troje. You had to have an invitation. We went instead to Supermarkt and stayed there for a short while. At 3:20 A.M. I was home.

Saturday 25.9 - Woke up around 10 and had breakfast. Toasted break in frying pan with salad, cucumber, tomato, cheese and butter. One slice of toast with nutella, toasted. Then I played guitar on the balcony not to disturb by sleeping flatmate. It was sunny at the moment but cloudy. I walked back inside, washed up and experienced life in front of my display. I am leaving for Amsterdam in an hour. Listening to Foals.

14.9 Tuesday - I woke up sometime in the morning and went to work. I worked the day at the embassy. At around 5.30 I met Johan from the Swedish embassy and we biked to the city centre and visited Aktie Sport and bought a pair of football shoes(boots?). You got a ball for free. After that we biked to Fat Kee and ate. I asked the waitress to recommend something and she said chicken with salt and pepper. It was tasty thought it sounded funny. Johan asked for fried noodles but got fried rice. After eating in that nice restaurant home.

15.9 Wednesday - I woke up biked to work, worked and biked back home. I had some quick sandwiches and biked 5 km along the railway to Vordburg and to Wilhelmus International. There I participated in nice football. I felt like a professional. I almost scored a goal. Players were mostly foreign, Anglo-Saxon or French. Afterwards I biked home. I biked a bit wrong but it felt good, playing.

16.9 Thursday - Woke up and went to work. After work I biked 15 km to Stompwijk to look at a MIDI synth. A retired and torn woman singer from a band nowadays making lounge was selling. I bought it for 70, 5 euro off haggling. It was difficult to bike. I strapped it horizontally to my backpack that I had on my stomach. Halfway it started to rain and I had to cover it in plastic bags. 15 km back. Home! and made dinner. Pasta with olives and tomatoes. Then I hurried to Plein and met the usual gang at Hagsche Kluis. I stayed there for a couple of hours. Then I walked home and was home.

An hour later or so we met Nooshin and Farzad and had birthday dinner for them at Little V, vietnamese food. Nice. Then we went to Dudok and had appletaaart and I had a Bessen Jeneiver(?). We walked back to Wagenstraat after trying ouf F&N's new car.

20.9 Monday - Woke up at 8 and went to work. At 5.30 I was finished and biked home and bought food on the way and looked in some shops for shorts for football. Didn't find any. Made a delicious pasta at home and cleaned the whole house and changed sheets and all ventilation. Read some Capote. Nice. I couldn't play football because of my sore on my heel.

10.9 Friday - I woke up at 8 something. It was a cloudy day. I biked to the embassy and from there I biked to the ICC and from there to the Norwegian embassy. On the way from the ICC to the Norwegian embassy it started to rain. From the Norwegian Embassy to the Finnish and then the day was over. I biked home via Albert Hein and a bakery. I had a nice sandwich that looked like a frog. I cleaned my room and walked to the station and met Maria. We went to an Italian restaurant. I spoke fluently Italian.

11.9 Saturday - Woke up at around 9. A nice breakfast and some reading on the balcony. Walked to the city center. There Maria, Farzad, Nooshin and me had a coffee. Maria and me continued to the beach. We ate kibbelingen and fritjes at the harbour. We walked along the beach a long way. All the way to a nudist beach and a bit more. I swam and was a child again. Then we had some sandwiches and walked back a long way and finally got on a tram. We had tapas at home and watched AFHV parts 37-42.

13.9 Sunday - Woke up around 9-10 and had breakfast. Walked out in the city and in a park and drank coffee at a café. Bought some food and prepared food, chevre pasta with too much chevre. Then some music making and I learned to know my neighbour as I asked for some music equipment from him when my system didn't work. I had connected some cables wrong. I followed Maria to the train, said goodbye. I topped up my phone. Then I met Johnny and we watched Machete at Pathé. Then some Chinese food at Fat Kee, rice with duck and chicken. Then I walked home and made some music.

14.9 Monday - woke up at 7.30. I biked to work and went to the OPCW and then back. I quit at 5.30 p.m. and ate a broodjeK, bought mys-trousers and looked at football shoes. I talked with Maria and biked home after buying a sorbet ice cream. At home I made a bit of music and skyped with Titus, Pekka and Margareta. Now is Now
