Holland times

Tuesday 9.11 – I woke up and biked to a meeting and from there with two from the Swiss delegation to another meeting. When that meeting was over it was storming in the Hague. I biked back through cat and dogs. I worked. After work I went home. At 8 I went to Kee Lun and we were around 8 people eating. Cheap and a lot when you are many. After that we went to a café at Grote Markt straat and then home. Sleep

Wednesday 10.11 – Woke up and went to work. Forgot the rest. Ah, yes I stayed home and watched the film Sleuth 4/5. Then sleep. It was raining cats and dogs.

Thursday 11.11 – Woke up and went to work. Was also at ICC. Biked back. Worked the day and went to the OPCW for and AAA meeting. I had Australian beer, whine, Kangaroo and some other things from Austria, haha. From there Johan and me biked to O’Caseys and participated in the pub quiz. From there we continued to a place on Oude Mol Straat. I was home around 2:30.

Friday 12.11 – Woke up at around 8 and went to a meeting and from there to work. Maria arrived at around 12 and we had lunch at the Greek Corner and it was really bad. Old, too fried meat. We spent some time at the embassy and then went back to China T. We made a delicious pasta and watched the film The man who sued God. 2/5.

Saturday 13.11 – Woke up at around 9. We had breakfast and drank coffee from a coffee cooker that Maria brought with her. Then I biked to the beach and Maria met Birgul. I surfed with a long board as usual and it went well. Real good now, some turning worked as well. I biked back after some good surfing. I met Maria at Bijenkorf. We went back to the flat and Maria played the piano and sang. I ate lunch. At 5 I bought bread from the Turkish/Moroccan bakery. I bought balloons and forks from Xenos. Maria jumped on my bike and we biked towards Klingendaal. We bought salad ingredients on the way. At Katrines place we prepared bread and a mozza salad. Guests arrived and we stayed there until 12. Then we biked to Momfer something bar and from there to De Paap. At 2.30 Maria and me biked home in rain. That was my 52 b-day party.

Sunday 14.11 – Woke up at around 10-11. We had breakfast and two cups of coffee. We watched the film Fargo 4/5. It was a similar film to the Big Lebowski. There was a different kind of woman hero. Then we walked a bit in the city centre and went to a Restaurant, b-day dinner. I had chicken saté and Maria had something strange. Then fish for starter and ice cream for dessert. Afterwards we skyped with sak, Pekka, Titus and Margareta. I followed Maria to the train, met Kaja by accident at the station who had been in Brussels and biked back home. I watched Children of Men 5/5 and went to sleep. It is a very good film.

Monday 15.11 – Woke up at 8 and put on my new shirt that I got as a birthday present. Blue with white stripes and a white collar. I biked to work. I worked until around 5 and biked fast home because the air was cold and clear. I skyped with Ida, Isak and Jonna. Ida waved goodbye to me. I had a salad and some extra belegen kaas and sausage from Italy. I skyped with Maria. Then I biked to Vorburg and played football until 22. I biked home and drank 2 bottles of water on the way. At home I took out the garbage and showered. Now is now.

3.11 Wednesday – I woke up at around 8 and biked to work. I had a meeting and biked back to the embassy. M and P were waiting for me outside the embassy. We ate a pita giros at the Greek Corner and went back to the embassy. Tea, cake and tangerines. At around 4 we left the embassy and walked to the train station. We picked up their stuff and walked to Wagen straat. Rested for a while and then went for a walk and had a look at the red light district. We walked to Kee Lun palace and had dinner. After dinner we walked around a bit in the old part of the Hague. Back home and sleep. My flat mate had disappeared.

4.11 Thursday – I woke up and had holidays. I went to buy turkish bread and came back. We had breakfast and left the house. We drank coffee on the way and went to Nordeinde and rented bikes. 2 for 20. We biked via the peace palace to the beach and from there to Delft. There we had Kibbelingen and Fritjes and Harring. We bought some things and then biked back and it was much shorter. We biked along a canal. We rested for a short while at home and then returned our bikes. We walked around and shopped a tiny bit in the centre. Then we had dinner at Hema. Stampot, gravy and a big meat ball. I tiny bit of food shopping and the we went home to sleep.

5.11 Friday – Woke up at 8 and had breakfast. We had coffe at Scallys, 3 for 5. Then we bought flowers and packed the bags. We walked to the station and Pekka left flowers for the flat mate. We took the train to Utrecht and to Arnhem and to Arnhem Zuid. Maria and Manu greeted us at the station. We went to De Laar and had tea, talk, dinner and singing. It was tasty. At 8 M and P’s train left. We took them to the station before that. We went back and watched 2 Bond films. One in 15 minutes and then a full portion of quantum of solace. Sleep

6.11 Saturday – Woke up at 9.3o after a long night of sleep. We had breakfast and then I played a bit of poker and cut film in the same time. We left Arnhem in the morning and went via the city centre H&M. I bought a Dönerix and we took the train to Adam. We walked from the station to Rosengracht and onwards to Nazila. There we met Nosh, Far and Naz. We ate carrot soup and drank wine. We watched some funny home videos and then walk and took the tram to a gallery. Naz had tickets. We were served oysters and drink for free. It was a bit awkward so we went to Burger King and Australian. Then we went home.

7.11 Sunday – Woke up at around 9 and had a shower. Played poker and looked at some photos. We had breakfast. Far and Noosh left after breakfast and we went to the city centre. Naz biked and Mar and me walked. We had a cup of coffee at Coffee Company. A man in front of me used a Ipad and he was very bad in navigating on it. We said by to Naz and took the train to Den Haag HS. We bought bread and walked home and had lunch. Played some piano and then I followed Maria to the train. I biked to Scheveningen and had dinner at Geoffry’s place. Pasta it was, and it was tasty. We ate and drank tea until 22. Then we parted. I biked home with Cecilia until the peace palace. I continued home and ate a bit and chose pics. Now is now.

8.11 Monday – Woke up 8, fell asleep and was finally up from bed at 8.50. I biked to work and worked a londg day until 18.30. I biked home via AH and bought 6 tomatoes, one lemon and one and a half liter of orange juice. I biked home and prepared a pasta in pikante saus. I skyped with Titus, Pekka, Margareta, Isak, Jonna and Ida. Now is now. Sitting in bed, cosy.
