I am writing this today Wednesday. Here follows a brief story of the Sunday canoeing with Kai and his parents canoe. Around 12 Kai arrived here and I made sanies for the trip. One dark sandwich and a toast each. We drove to Sundsberg, 3km from where I live. There we met Kai's parents. We ate some food there. Buns with cheese and mushroom salad. From there Kai's father drove only around 1 km to the sea. The rest follows below.

Here the sanies are made. The black bread was with BOTH cheese and ham. The toast with some Swedish prawn cheese. Also a bottle of water and carrots from our own garden. Photo Kai

The canoe is by the sea. We carried around 100 m. It was surprisingly heavy. We are thinking: where should we put it in the sea. Other preparations made: Life jackets, cloths around are waist for not letting any water making us wet and adjusting the steering. The canoe was steered by a rudder adjusted by the feet of the one sitting behind.

First we road out from the shore. We started in a bay. From there we paddled to this river called Mankby Å. The bridge is the railway bridge I am crossing everyday when I go to work. It was quite nice to go beneath it and enjoy the wonderful echo under the bridge.

This boat was fascinatingly covered in moss. The Snoopy dog adds to the absurd feeling. Why is not anyone using this boat I wonder.

Look at my biceps. I am strong. Photo Kai, obviously

Here I pose and the flash makes me paler than I am.

Kai stretching and flexing.

The trees resting over the water. We met only one canoe in the river.

The best picture of the trip. The general composition, sharpness and light is good. The movements in the water on the right side and the drops on the left side create balance in the water and Kai looking at the paddle makes it even more interesting. In my opinion.

Lunch break 5 p.m. The dark bread. Kai also went to a kiosk and bought a hamburger and sweets for us.
My foot in the sand. It was a surprisingly warm day.

Kai making himself ready for the paddling back. The boys had been swimming on the left side.
Nice cloth. Kai wears this always.
